Patience Game 13s Released

Wednesday 14th, July 2010

I have just released a new desktop patience card game called 13s which is played on a 3 x 3 grid where you have to make 13 from either one or two cards.

A King on it’s own is worth 13 so does not need another card with it, whilst a Queen is worth 12 and needs an Ace, A Jack is worth 11 and it needs a two.

The first card is laid face up on the first grid position and if you cannot make 13 with that card, then you hit the deck for the next card which will be placed on the next grid position and so on, when you can make 13 just click on the card or cards and new card or cards will be placed on top of the card or cards clicked on.

Their is a HTML help file with instructions in English, German and Dutch.

I would like to credit however created the sprites for the pack of cards, but I cannot rm.emember where I got them fro

MPdata+ version 1.03 released

Friday 20th, November 2009

I have just released version 1.03 of MPdata+ the little application that keeps on eye on your Member of Parliament.

New in this release is that the Hear from your MP button has been replaced with Maiden Speech button and a new button added Signed EDMs.

The reason for swapping the Hear from your MP to the Maiden Speech was that the Hear from your MP went to a generic page rather than a page where you could just click on a button to Hear from your MP.

The Signed EDMs button goes to a page that list Early Day Motions that that MP has signed.

This application requires a working internet connection a web browser and wget.

MPdata+ is a cut down version of my web based Find your MP which you can do by entering your post code in the box below

Not long after the latest release of Form Filler it has been upgraded to version 1.12, thanks to Graham N P Jenkins and for those who have an earlier version I recommend using the upgrade download to keep their information intact.

Form Filler Upgraded To Version 1.11

Sunday 27th, September 2009

I have upgraded my form filling application Form Filler to version 1.11 and have also included a upgrade for earlier versions of the application.

Those on earlier version should use the upgrade rather than the full download to keep their button data.

New on this version is that it now implements Ctrl Z button C H which is clear highlighted text and a bug fix which if you edited to many forms would cause the application to crash.

Tuesday 8th, September 2009

My second game produced Kevmon now comes with a Danish translation courtesy of Helge Hammer and it is updated to version 1.00a.

You will only need to download the latest version if you want the Danish translation, as there is no difference to the game apart from that.

Kevmon Released

Saturday 22nd, August 2009

I have released version 1.00 of the game Kevmon which is based on the late 1970’s electronic game Simon in which you have to remember the sequence of coloured lights.

The game will flash one of the four coloured lights and in each round after flash another one, until you get it wrong.

At the moment there is no sound for the coloured lights but I am to add that in a later release.
